John McCarthy will be talking about his moving memoir, written following
his first journey back to Palestine since his incarceration. Using a
map, not of the current Palestinian territory, but of Palestine before
The Cataclysm, McCarthy meets the people living there today, and finds
out how they keep a sense of perspective and of self, when living in a
place of so many distorted images.
