| July 18, 2010 | ||
| 2:00 pm | to | 3:00 pm |
9 Harvest Way
Cambridge
Part of the Art of Resistance day 12 noon-4pm
William Parry will talk about his newly published book ‘Against the Wall’
Featuring the work of artists including Banksy, Ron English, Blu and others, as well as Palestinian artists and activists, these photos express outrage, compassion, and touching humour. They illustrate the wall’s toll on lives and livelihoods, showing the hardship it has brought to tens of thousands of people, preventing their access to work, education and vital medical care.

Organised by Cambridge PSC
All welcome, with words provided on the day! Many are known songs such as ‘We shall overcome’, ‘This Land Is My Land’, and we hope to have a lead musician to help us along, on *each SingOut‘. The more people who can support this, the STRONGER THE MESSAGE, so do come along, and remember, none of us are necessarily singers, but
we are COMMITTED TO ENDING THIS INJUSTICE.
*SingOut for Freedom and Justice will ALSO be held fortnightly, outside the Guildhall, on Saturdays, 1:30-2:30, from then on. However, we wish for a big number of people on the 10 July to mark the national BDS, (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions), day, and commemorate the 5th anniversary call by Palestinian Civil Society for BDS actions to be taken worldwide, to awaken elected governments who have chosen to remain silent.
