Directed by and starring Palestinian-Israeli filmmaker Elia Suleiman (DIVINE INTERVENTION), THE TIME THAT REMAINS is a semi-autobiographical exploration of the creation of the state of Israel, from 1948 through to the present day. Entered in competition at both the Cannes and Toronto film festivals in 2009, this affecting black comedy is structured as four episodes, each recounting the foundation of the Israeli state through a series of retrospectives from Suleiman and his family. This immensely personal film is an engaging first-hand account of what it means to be a young Palestinian growing up in a country where your people have been rendered a minority in the wake of war.

This film is being shown from 18th June for one week. Depending on attendance levels the cinema will decide on Monday evening whether to show it for a further week.
